“Career Girl” is a short comedy that shines a satirical light on the tension between career ambitions and other goals in the lives of women. It’s a modern parable meant to make people laugh, but also to consider the dilemma of the female professional as we watch Monica struggle to overcome unexpected obstacles and get to the biggest meeting of her life. Our shooting schedule was unusual by design: though the action of the story plays out in a single day, seven months elapsed between the first day of shooting and days two and three – for reasons that will be very clear when you watch the film.

Missing is a short film about revenge, regret, violence, beauty, and love. With Missing we wanted to try our hand at creating a simple yet effective dramatic action film with a poetic edge. The visuals, voice over, music, and subtle sound design are aimed at stripping and slowing down an action film in order to explore what can be achieved when we look at what an action hero is experiencing when he or she has got something to fight for. There's resolve behind every punch that's both taken and given, and satisfaction isn't obtained by defeating the man in front of you--rather it's in achieving your ultimate goal. In the case of Missing, our hero is fighting for love and redemption.
